Biography
Hamid Hajizadeh was a poet and teacher. He was brutally murdered alongside his nine-year-old son, Karun, on September 22, 1998, in Kerman. Their killings were part of the state-sponsored Chain Murders of Iran, where government agents targeted intellectuals and dissidents. His birthday is observed on Teacher's Day.
حمید حاجیزاده، شاعر و معلم، در تاریخ ۳۱ شهریور ۱۳۷۷ (۲۲ سپتامبر ۱۹۹۸) به همراه پسر ۹ سالهاش، کارون، در کرمان به طرز وحشیانهای به قتل رسید. قتل او و فرزندش بخشی از قتلهای زنجیرهای ایران بود که توسط عوامل حکومتی انجام شد. زادروز او مصادف با روز معلم است.
