Biography
Hamid Hajizadeh was an Iranian teacher, poet, and writer who was brutally murdered alongside his nine-year-old son, Karoun, on September 22, 1998. Their killings were part of the state-sponsored 'Chain Murders' of intellectuals and dissidents in Iran. He is remembered as a dedicated educator whose life was cut short in Kerman due to his literary and social activities.
حمید حاجیزاده، شاعر، نویسنده و دبیر ادبیات، در ۳۱ شهریور ۱۳۷۷ به همراه فرزند ۹ سالهاش کارون، در کرمان به شکلی وحشیانه به قتل رسید. قتل آنها بخشی از واقعه موسوم به «قتلهای زنجیرهای» بود که طی آن عوامل حکومتی به حذف فیزیکی روشنفکران و دگراندیشان میپرداختند. از او به عنوان آموزگاری فداکار و ادیبی یاد میشود که قربانی خشونت سیستماتیک علیه منتقدان شد.
